Malaopera is a solo project based in Genova, Italy.
Founded in 2016 by a musician with some years of experience in rock music. I was really enjoying himself with my bands, but I felt that something were missing in my music, something coming from environmental sounds.
So, I tried to capture some of these sound and play with it using guitar effects, syntethizers, and so on, giving to my new songs a taste of electronic music.
Every of these songs are played with these noises, with some other instruments to create backgrounds notes that complete them.
Recently, I took a course in sound designer and I decided to open up my project to create sound effects and plugins to play them with.
For this reason in 2026 Malaopera becomes Malaopera Studio, a project that joins music to sound creation.
